Texas Toast Sloppy

Image
I remember as a kid having Sloppy Joe’s A Lot. I’m pretty sure they were the canned variety. Until I created this recipe for Sweetbay Supermarket , I always used the canned Sloppy Joe sauce too. But let me tell you, making the sauce from scratch is not only WAY better than the can, but it is also really really easy!!! And how fun is it to make those Sloppy Joe’s opened faced? And on some cheesy Texas Toast!!! Much better than a boring ol’ bun. In my opinion, you just can’t serve these old school sandwiches without corn on the cob. That would be like having grilled cheese without tomato soup. It’s illegal I think. What really put this meal over the top is that is feeds a family of four, takes less than 20 minutes to cook AND it’s only $10!!!!!!! Texas Toast Sloppy Ingredients: 1lb lean ground beef .25 cup chopped onion ½ tsp garlic powder 3/4 cup ketchup 2 tsp tomato paste ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce 2.5 tsp brown sugar Salt & Pepper – to taste 4 pieces of Green Mill Texas Toas...

Banana Split Pie

Image
The pie has a very good flavor, however I had difficulty with the filling running over. I would suggest using a casserole dish and placing graham crackers in the bottom instead of using a graham cracker pie shell. This dessert is very messy if you use the graham cracker pie shell. This is also a dessert that has to be eaten within two days. This is not a good pie to keep in the fridge for more than a few days. Banana Split Pie Banana Split Pie is an easy no-bake dessert with a graham cracker pie crust that is full of bananas, whipped cream and pineapple. Chicken and Broccoli Lasagna Recipe

Image
Delicious layers of pasta, ricotta cheese, alfredo sauce, chicken and broccoli make this Chicken Broccoli Alfredo Lasagna a delicious meal! This recipe is sure to be enjoyed by all and will make enough for a crowd or to be had for leftovers! Lasagna is simple to make once all the ingredients are ready to go. The first step is to prepare all of your ingredients. For this lasagna, that includes steaming broccoli, chopping cooked chicken, cooking the pasta and seasoning the ricotta cheese. Once everything is ready all that needs to be done is to layer the ingredients as listed in the recipe below. For this recipe, I precooked my chicken in a crock pot on high for four hours. I like to do this every once in a while and will make enough for a few recipes at a time to cut down on my cooking and prep time later. This recipe can be made ahead of time and then stored in the refrigerator until ready to bake it whether that is in an hour or in a day or two! Simply cover with plastic wrap and stor...
